Sorry for the delay in getting these pictures up. I know you are chompin' at the bit to see her chubby cheeks.
But first a little recap of the last 36 hours. We came to the hospital yesterday at 5:00, sat in the room for a couple of hours and then had a baby at 7:35. I spent a little while alone with Lucy and then Alisha joined us in recovery. We were in recovery for a couple of hours and then up to the room. That's it, short and sweet.
Alisha did not feel good when we first got up to the room. As the drugs wore off, she became more and more green. Then just add a few more drugs and she started to turn around. This morning she was back on solid food and didnt have anything attached to her anymore. Almost good as new.
Lucy has been great. Nothing wrong with her and just keeps eating, sleeping and pooping. She did meet Nataly last night and it went surprisingly well. Nataly was a great sport and even brought a gift for Lucy. As soon as they were introduced, Nataly started kissing her. Remeber, Nataly is a kisser. The two of them sat on the chair with me and Nataly snuggled a little and gave her a few more kisses. Nataly seems to be ready for a little sister. We'll see what happens when Lucy starts playing with her toys and stuff, Nataly might change her tune.

Big Girl at the Hospital
The saga continues. It's been almost a week and Nataly still isn't back to normal. All she has eaten for the week is Cheerios, Kix and a few waffles. All she will drink is water, which the doctors tell us isn't good enough. So after she threw up again this morning we decided it was time to go to the emergency room. Our doctor suggested we come here if the problem persisted.
So here we are. She is getting an IV of fluids and something for her nausea as we speak. She was a surprisingly good sport thru if all. She's tougher than I think.
I'll keep you posted.
PS- Alisha was sick for a day and is now is back to normal. Getting ready for Monday morning.

Sick Little Girl
It's been a little crazy at the Wings of Bloomington house. Nataly got sick Sunday night and didn't seem to kick it until this morning. She was back to her old self asking for mom and her Tigger. It's nice to have her back to normal. But don't get me wrong, it was nice when she was sick because she wanted to be held all the time. Most days she wants nothing to do being held or snuggling. She is not a snuggler.
I took her to the doctor yesterday because we were getting a little concerned. She wasn't eating or drinking and she was moving really slow. Turns out she just had the flu and was a little dehydrated. Nothing to worry about, just fill her with Pedialite and crackers and she will come around. Sure enough, she did.
I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of her while she was down and out.

Lounging on the couch watching alot of TV.
This is when I got a little concerned. She just laid down on the floor and fell asleep. A little out of the ordinary for someone that is usually going a million miles an hour and never sits still.
Off to the doctor:
At the doctor with Tigger. She was great, no crying or anything. Even when they took some blood. I had the doctor check out Tigger too. Luckily he didn't catch whatever Nataly had.
But mommy might have. More to come on that.

Alligator
For some reason Nataly kept saying alligator on Sunday morning. Who knows why. But I told her that we could go see one at the zoo if she wanted to. She was all over that idea. We were going to bring mom, but we ended up leaving her at home to go grocery shopping and stuff. So it was just the two of us for a morning of looking at animals.
A special thank you to The Wings of Tulsa - they gave Nataly a zoo membership for her birthday. It is so much easier to go to the zoo when you have a membership. You know going in that she is going to want to leave in about 1 hour so you don't feel guilty when you have to leave. On this trip she lasted a lot longer than I expected. She made it 2+ hours.
Enough rambling, here are the pics:

She had a specific list of things she wanted to see at the zoo. She wanted to see a bunny, an owl, a horse and a monkey. She was so excited to see the bunnies and didn't sit still long enough to take it all in. When we went through the wolf den, she was yelling "Big Bad Wolf" and running back and forth. People thought it was pretty funny and they were right.
An alligator was obviously on the list too. Well, they don't have alligators at the MN zoo. But they have dwarf crocodiles. So that had to do. I told her it was an alligator, so she was happy. Besides, I don't think I could tell her why they are different anyways. They could have told me it was an alligator and I wouldn't have known. I only knew it was a crocodile because I could read the sign.

Party pics
I forgot we had more pics from the party last weekend. Here they are:
She can put the hurt on a cupcake. She loves em.
Even though the party was for the kids, I had to jump into the pit while nobody was looking. Well, I guess Alisha was watching me with the camera. But no one else. Check it out, it was fun.
Ready? Set?
Go!

New neighbors
We have 2 new neighbors so Alisha and Nataly made them some cookies to welcome them to the new hood. Check out the mess.
KISS
Here's a pic of Nataly looking like Paul Stanley from KISS. She got the glasses at a birthday party and loved them.
