Tulsa and then Bella Vista for Thanksgiving

We piled into the family truckster and headed south for the week. First stop- Tulsa. We stayed with Aaron, Kari, Lilly and Kate (with a K) and Nataly spent some quality time with her cousins. She had a blast and so did we. We went and watched Uncle Aaron run in a half marathon, we had some coffee at DoubleShot, we went to the Fillbrook art museum, we went shopping, had some BBQ, went to the park and more. A little bit of fun for everyone.

Then we headed to Bella Vista so Nataly could spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. And we could have some turkey on Thanksgiving. In Bella Vista we went over to see the new Crystal Bridges museum that is being built in Bentonville. That is going to be a huge building when it is done and is set to be filled with the best artwork that the Walton's can buy. Then on Thanksgiving we spent time with the whole family together. It was raining outside so we spent all day inside playing games and talking.It was great to have everyone under the same roof for a few days.

On Friday, after Thanksgiving, Alisha and Kari braved the crowds and went shopping at 6:00am in search of anything that was on sale. When they got back, we headed to our favorite store Vintage Cargo in Eureka Springs. Alisha and I have no problem finding things we like in there. We cant leave without buying something. Even if it's too big to fit in our car and my parents have to bring it to us at Christmas. Thank you by the way.

Then all of the sudden our trip was over and we needed to head North. We packed up all of our stuff, said good bye and were off. But the trip home didnt go nearly as smooth as the trip down. No mechanical problems, just 4 month old kid trapped in a car for 10 hour problems. She was not a happy camper. We stopped a total of 7 times and 4 of them were in the first 4 hours. It felt like we might not ever get home. She wouldn't sleep, she wouldn't eat, she didn't want to play, she just wanted to be crabby. Needless to say, it took us a little longer to get home than expected.

We had a great time seeing everyone again and can't wait for Christmas to get everyone back together. Nataly can't wait either. She loved all of the attention and was held for every waking moment.

A Cute Little Flower

We have been pretty busy lately. I went back to work at the end of October. That was really tough. At least I know Nataly is with friends and family. She's in good hands. So, on her first day with Sarah she came home in a cute Halloween costume. Loved the flower. The Bauer family absolutely adores Nataly.

For Halloween she managed to be a flower, a pumpkin and we tried to get her in the bumble bee costume we got from her cousin. She hated it! She wanted to be left alone so she got her way.

A few weekends ago Eric's aunt and uncle were in town from Arizona. We were able to meet up with them for brunch along with Grandma. We had a great time hanging out with them.

If you listen closely Nataly is saying she loved her visit with her cousins and misses them very much! She loved having them over and Tim and Sue!

The Wings of Tulsa Came to Visit

Aaron, Kari, Lilly and Kate came to visit this week. It was our first time to meet Kate! She's so sweet and light! We had a blast. We went to the park, the Mall of America and to Grandmas. We did lots! Lilly had so much fun at the Nickelodeon amusement park at the MOA.

Duluth Trip

We went to Duluth earlier this month to see how Nataly would do on the car ride and being away from home. She did pretty well except for the drive home. That took more like 4-5 hours instead of 2 1/2 hours.

Our Sweet, Sweet Nataly

A friend from work came over one night and took some pictures of Nataly for us. It was lots of fun. Nataly was getting sick of it by the end. We kept giving her her pacifier and then taking it away. She was pissed by the end of the night. She was a trooper though!

Grandma and Grandpa were in town

It is nearly impossible to get 3 people to look at the camera and all of them have their eyes open. This was as close as I could get.

she just does it on her own.
