Sunday Coffee and a Chocolate Chip Cookie

On Sunday Nataly wouldn't take a nap and I wanted a cup of coffee. So I put her in the truck and hoped she would fall asleep during the drive. Sure enough it worked, she was asleep in about 10 minutes.  But that meant that I had to drive around aimlessly for a while. When she woke up I asked her which coffee shop she wanted to go to. She said "a new one and not the one with the bikes". We tried out a new shop called Parka in Minneapolis. It has been on my list of places to try out and now was as good of a time as any to give it a shot. I had a cup of coffee and she had a chocolate chip cookie. Both were really good, I would go back. She ate most of the cookie in the truck and finished it off when we got home. This is what she looked like. It got a little messy.

Sorry folks. The blog fell off my radar for a while. But I'm back and have a bunch of pics to post.

 Here's Nataly all bundled up to go play in the snow. She gets a little crazy if she cooped up in the house for too long. We take her out and let her run around and burn off some energy. It works. She is pooped when we are done and sleeps like a baby.

 Nataly, Lilly, Great Grandma Gladys and Kate. No Lucy. I'm not sure why or where she was. Probably sleeping or something.

 Nataly's newest thing is painting. We set up an easel in the basement and let her go at it. As long as she stays on the concrete part in the laundry room she is fine. The paint can be washed out with water, but she doesn't know that. She thinks she will wreck the carpet if she gets any paint on it. Please dont tell her the truth, we need to keep her contained.

 We were goofing around at dinner yesterday and here are a couple of pics that mommy took of us. I look like crap, but the girls are cute.
