January 2012

Ok I know we have been slacking. But we have been busy and honestly lazy. So here we go. Here are some photos and videos of us from January. It was a big month. Eric had a big birthday! For the big event Eric got lots of gifts from friends and family. We also got to go on a trip without Nataly. We flew down to Chicago for the weekend. We had a blast. We really didn't sleep in though. It's hard to sleep in when your body is already scheduled to wake up at 6:00. Otherwise, we had lots of fun. We ate a ton and even managed to walk through "the hood" to get to the Science and Industry Museum. (Not my idea by the way. Eric's. He thought we could take the "L" there. Nope) Fun times and memories. Nataly had her first weekend away at Grandma's. They had a blast. Nataly, Grandma and Auntie Anna went to the Edinbourgh park and did lots of other stuff. They sure kept her busy.

Other than that we have been spending time with friends as well. Nataly and Mary are getting use to hanging out together. Anthony likes to play with them too but still likes to play with his toys without them bugging him.

Let me out....Oh wait no way I'm having way too much fun!

Besties hanging out. Ok maybe they won't ever be but we can certainly try. Maybe second cousins or something.

Santa Visit

Nataly and I met Daddy after work one day to make our visit to see Santa. Nataly did great. I had been talking to her about Santa for a few weeks. I don't know if that helped but she wasn't afraid of Santa. She stood and pointed at him and went ho, ho, ho. She was waving to him and walked right up to him. She sat on his lap for a long time. It was so cute. She was loving it. We told her to make sure you tell Santa what you want for Christmas. Hopefully she did. After our visit with Santa we walked the mall and saw the toy cars. Nataly had a blast. She went down the line and got into each one of them. It was so funny.

Visit from the Wings of Tulsa

A week before Christmas Uncle Aaron, Aunt Kari and cousins Lilly and Kate came up to visit from Tulsa. They were making their rounds for the holidays up in Minnesota. So, we got the first visit. We had a blast! Nataly was loving all the fun times she had with her cousins. She would follow Lilly around and they would share snacks. Kate and Nataly would chase each other around. It was so much fun to have all the girls together. We lots of playing. We even went to the Edenborugh indoor playground. We had a blast.

Kari got Nataly to stay put long enough to get pigtails in. She's such a cute little girl now. My girl is growing up.

December 2011

We have been busy with the holidays. Just playing around, seeing the Christmas tree for the first time and of course a visit to see Santa. We spent the month trying to do Christmas activities and get ready for all the festivities. It's been nuts but we have had a blast.

Chatting with Grandma on the phone

Lunch with Elmo. So much fun!

First and only snow fall so far this year. Having a blast with Daddy in the snow!

November 2011

November was filled with lots of activities again. We had music class and another session of swim classes. Nataly loved swim class. She loved getting on the boggie boards and kicking around the pool plus jumping into the pool. Then Thanksgiving was a blast at Grandma's house. We were able to bring Great Grandma Gladys over. Nataly loves all the attention she gets from her Aunt and Uncles. Nataly loves jumping on Grandma's bed to 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. It's so funny how she jumps. She hasn't figured out yet to lift her feet off the floor. It's so cute.

We also had a Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner with Grandpa John and Rosemary. They were heading down to Arizona for the winter and wouldn't be back until the spring. It's fun to see how much Grandpa just loves having Nataly around. He doesn't really pay attention to anyone else but her when she is around. It's fun to give Grandpa a hard time for it.

October 2011

So, we have been slacking on the blog I know but we are trying to get back into it again. So, I will re-cap what we have been up to since October. Well actually back in September Nataly started swim class. She's been having a blast in the pool. The first session she wouldn't let her grip around my neck go but by the second session she was lovin' jumping into the pool and kicking. She was loving every moment of it.

So, October was filled with lots of fun Fall activities. We had music class every week, swim class every week and we headed out to an apple orchard with the Skogens. My mom (Grandma M) came along as well. We had a blast at the orchard. It was a very windy cool day but we still have lots of fun. We pet animals, went on a hay ride, and picked a pumpkin. It was lots of fun.

To end October we had, of course, Halloween. Nataly was a cute, adorable ladybug. She loved wearing the costume. We went down to St. Paul on Grand Ave and trick-or-treated. We also were able to do a little trick-or-treating in the old neighborhood and the new neighborhood. It was a blast seeing everyone.

Nataly was getting ready for her first Gopher hockey game. She had a blast. She loved Goldy but was afraid to give him a high five. It was so funny. Goldy was so sad she wouldn't give him one. Poor guy maybe next time.
