Bath time last night. She did much better. No crying or anything. I think she actually liked it.

Nataly - Week 1

This was her reaction to bath time. She got better, but it didn't start out great.

Nataly and I hanging out outside. She loves it outside and spends most of the time looking around like this.

Great Grandma Kaufhold

She struck this pose after we got home from Grandmas. She was laying on the floor kicking her legs with her hands like this.

Crumbs Cupcakes

I know this blog is supposed to be about Nataly now. But sometimes Alisha and I are still going to be on it. Today is Alisha's day. Aaron Kari and Lilly sent Alisha some cupcakes from Crumbs in New York City. She loves them. If I let her, I think she would eat them all. These aren't your average cupcakes. They are huge. And believe it or not they tasted just like they do when you buy them at the bakery. They are shipped in a Styrofoam cooler with dry ice and the logo sticks keep the frosting from touching the top. For being shipped across the country they looked amazingly good.

Turn your head to watch this.

Here she is!!!

Nataly Ann Wing was born on Friday July 30th at 3:06 pm. She was 23" long and she weighed 12lbs 6 oz. So yes she is a big baby. She is doing fine and we expect to be home in a couple of days.

Alisha is doing great too. The first night was rough from the anesthesia but after the effects wore off she was good to go. That took about a day and she was really tough through it all. Now she is up and walking around and back to eating solid foods.

I'll try to control myself with posting every cute picture of her. But here are a few from the first couple of days:
We will start off with a before picture. Doesn't look that big does she?

This was before we went in while we were waiting in the hospital. Do we look nervous?

One of her first pictures. Showing her 12lb 6 oz on the scale.

Here is what Alisha looked like the first night when she didnt feel so good.

Ann and Dylan gave her a tutu and I could not resist putting her in it.
She wasn't amused but I was.
